My love for sewing began in my late teens, inspired by my mom. I was captivated by the idea of creating something meaningful for someone else. After learning from her, I purchased my first sewing machine at 19. What began with simple sewing soon expanded to cross-stitching, and eventually, one stitch led to another (pun intended!), and I discovered needlepoint.

 

My journey into needlepoint began when I started working for the United States branch of Ehrman Tapestry.​  Today, I am proud to be The U.S. Finisher for Ehrman Tapestry—a role that has shaped my career and passion for this art form.​

 

I am fortunate to do what I love from the comfort of my home. My workshop is my haven, where meaningful projects come to life. At the heart of my workspace is a large table where I spread out my projects. Along one wall is my collection of fabrics and cording; another holds my sewing machines, desk, and computer. My mailing station occupies the final wall, with pillow boxes carefully tucked wherever they fit. Personal touches like family photos and pictures of my grandchildren bring warmth to my workspace. The best part? While I work on your treasures, I get to enjoy the occasional run-by hug from my grandkids or a quick lunch down the hall. It’s truly a match made in heaven.​

 

Although I don’t have a storefront, technology allows me to connect with my customers in meaningful ways. I’m always available via text, phone or email to assist with inquiries, fabric or cording color matching, and any other questions you may have. With 25 years of experience and my cherished home workshop, I am proud to offer quick turnaround times and professional craftsmanship.​

 

Today, my family plays an integral role in the business. My youngest son handles most of the sewing, my daughter oversees the monogramming and social media pages, and my husband and oldest son help with internal business management.  It brings me immense joy to know that the passion and dedication I’ve poured into this work will carry on through them.
